Friend,

Today we honor the life and legacy of an extraordinary Georgian: Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

As our country faces deep divisions, I return to his commitment to “the beloved community” — a community grounded in justice, opportunity for all, compassion, and human decency.

We are sadly still fighting the fights Dr. King did. The struggle for voting rights, racial equity, and social justice throughout our great state continues.

In the face of rampant voter suppression — targeting Black and brown Americans — it’s more critical than ever that we honor Dr. King’s dream by working for a more fair and just world.

I am honored to have you on my team as we continue this work.

With gratitude,

Carolyn
