MLK Rally and March TODAY

Every year Seattle DSA members turn out and sometimes support organizing the MLK Jr. Coalition’s Rally on MLK Day. Rally begins at Garfield at 11am! To find other DSA Members at the rally, we recommend wearing a red shirt and meeting a cohort of SDSA members who will have the banner kitty corner to Ezell’s chicken, on the hill (south of the parking lot).

Check out more information for the Rally here: https://www.seattlemlkcoalition.org/

As a part of this week, Black Lives Matter at School  organizers including the NAACP Youth Council, WAESN, and SEA Union Educators will be hosting a variety of events and workshops. NOTICE: Some are cancelled due to COVID.

Chapter Convention Registration & Form Live

Seattle DSA's chapter convention is on March 19 from 1 PM to 4 PM. Seattle DSA’s annual chapter convention helps guide the overall direction of the entire chapter. It’s our largest meeting of the year where members submit changes to our bylaws, resolutions for priority campaigns, and we elect members to the Local Council to help facilitate that over-arching direction.

You can register here or you can also submit a Local Council nominee, a resolution, or bylaws change on this form. All of the above and eventual nominee statements and agenda will be live at: seattledsa.org/chaptercon
