Hello,

Today we commemorate the extraordinary life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King devoted his life to fighting injustice and inequality. His commitment to unity at a time of deep division in our nation serves as an inspiration for me and so many others. His legacy inspires us to fight for justice and equality, to recognize the dignity of all human beings, and to live with principle.

We have come a long way, but we are still far from realizing Dr. King’s vision of an equitable society. I am committed to fighting every day for a more just nation, starting with meaningful voting rights reform.

May we all be inspired by Dr. King’s teachings to fight for a better tomorrow.
