IRC REPUBLICAN PARTY CHAIRMAN

Jay Kramer

Mark Twain once said, “It is easier to fool people than it is to tell them they have been fooled.” Signs that the public is being fooled into accepting fascist socialism are everywhere. The government is holding political prisoners, captive without charges or trials in violation of their constitutional rights, doctors are being stripped of their right to practice medicine for disagreeing with the political narrative, people are losing their jobs and the ability to live ordinary lives outside their homes while their children are denied access to schools and education. There is clearly an attack on American prosperity as Biden takes actions that are meant to tank the economy, unprecedented in our lifetime. We all know that events to control our lives are in full swing. The public has been told to just comply with masks and vaccines and we can all go back to normal; this has been played out, time and time again, with every new variant. The Democrats continue to fool the people into thinking that their policies are good for the country, however their supporters are having to swallow their pride as they deal with rising prices, an increasingly higher cost of living, shortages, and empty shelves in our stores. It is up to us to keep up the good fight and keep reminding our family, friends, and neighbors that this is not the America we envision, nor will we accept. The public has been fooled. However, 2022 is here and we Republicans must tell them that they have been fooled but that we are the alternative. Let’s support our Republican candidates and make sure the Democrat Party becomes as extinct as the Dodo bird in 2022!

REMINDER: VOTER REGISTRATION TRAINING

In line with the tightening of Florida laws on election integrity, the process for Third Party Registration has changed. A third-party voter registration organization is any person, entity or organization that collects any voter registration application. Whenever the Republican Party registers people to vote it is acting in the capacity of a third party. Our State Committeewoman, Elly Manov has arranged for training for individuals who want to participate in voter registration activities. The training will take place on January 18th at 10:00 AM at the Supervisor of Elections office. If you are interested, please let us know at [email protected].

ANOTHER HISTORIC WIN FOR THE FLORIDA GOP

The Florida GOP notched another historic win by doubling the number of newly active registered voters in one month. According to the latest Florida Department of State, Division of Elections data, Florida Republicans have an advantage of 45,153 active registered voters who are showing their preference for conservative Republican principles. Under the leadership of Governor Ron DeSantis and state and local leaders, Florida will remain a free and open state.

The total number of current active registered voters is below.

REP: 5,122,213
DEM: 5,077,060
NMP: 4,081,300

LEGISLATIVE SESSION BEGINS, GOVERNOR GIVES STATE OF THE STATE

Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, marked the opening day of the 2022 Legislative Session. Senate President Wilton Simpson and House Speaker Chris Sprowls gave their remarks in their respective chambers. Governor DeSantis gave the State of the State address during a Joint session. Read the entire speech below.

GOVERNOR DECRIES LACK OF BACKBONE BY CHIEF JUSTICE JOHN ROBERTS AND JUSTICE BRETT KAVANAUGH

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh did “not have a backbone” when they opted to side with their left-wing colleagues, voting to keep the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) vaccine mandate on healthcare workers, Harvard Law School graduate, Governor DeSantis said. He called for a special session in Florida late last year, designed to provide protection for workers, including healthcare workers, ensuring that individuals not lose their job “over these shots.” But voting against the vaccine mandates, he explained, is a “no-brainer.”

“I mean, anybody who’s not a far-left jurist was going to come out that way,” he said in reaction to the Supreme Court’s 6-3 decision striking down the Biden administration’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) vaccine mandate, which would have affected more than 84 million American workers. However, the Supreme Court did not strike down the CMS mandate, a surprise to DeSantis. “But on the medical, on the nurse mandate and the doctor mandate, Roberts and Kavanaugh joined with the liberals to allow the nurse mandate,” he said. “So, here’s what’s going on. Think about how insane this is,” the governor began, explaining that Florida took steps to protect healthcare workers in Florida. But in other states, they fired unvaccinated nurses, many of whom had natural immunity through prior infection, he explained.

“Now they’re so short-handed, they’re actually bringing back to work nurses who are COVID-positive. They are vaccinated, but we know that’s not stopping it. So, they have COVID-positive people back on,” he said.

“Meanwhile, the unvaccinated, likely immune through prior infection, healthy nurses are on the sidelines, fired. How insane are these policies?” he asked.

“What Biden’s doing with this CMS mandate, we’re going to enforce our protections here in Florida, but what that’s going to lead to in other states that haven’t done what we’ve done, that’s going to lead healthy nurses to be put on the sidelines while we have an acute healthcare shortage,” he said.

REAPPORTIONMENT UNDERWAY

The Reapportionment Committee publicly considered SJR 100, Joint Resolution of Apportionment, and SB 102, Establishing the Congressional Districts of the State, and adopted amendments to incorporate the recommendations of the select subcommittees. During the committee meeting, in accordance with Supreme Court precedent, Senate districts were randomly renumbered in order to maintain staggered election terms in an incumbent neutral manner. SJR 100 and SB 102 passed out of committee and are heading to the Senate floor.

FIRST LADY CASEY DESANTIS ANNOUNCES FREE SUBSTANCE ABUSE CURRICULUM FOR SCHOOLS THROUGH FLORIDA'S "THE FACTS. YOUR FUTURE." CAMPAIGN

Last week, First Lady Casey DeSantis announced the launch of a free substance abuse curriculum for schools in the form of a ‘School Assemblies Toolkit’ through Florida’s The Facts. Your Future. campaign. This program directly engages youth in Florida to improve their understanding of the life-altering effects of drug abuse and empowers teens to reach their full potential.

“With the heartbreaking overdose death statistics, we’re witnessing across the country, and as a mom of three, I want Florida’s youth to know they have the power to resist and overcome drug use and abuse,” said First Lady Casey DeSantis. “Our The Facts. Your Future. initiative is reinventing the way substance abuse prevention is taught in our schools. It’s not “Just Say No” — it’s “Just Say No and Here’s Why.” Together with community partners, schools can use this toolkit to give kids proper context and perspective on the dangers of drug use.”

The ‘School Assemblies Toolkit’ provides schools with free content to engage in Florida’s The Facts. Your Future. initiative through interactive, hands-on elements that can be incorporated throughout the school year. The toolkit contains materials such as fact sheets, conversation maps, and a school assembly template to guide schools in hosting their own events. Schools are encouraged to partner with local law enforcement and others in their communities to host dynamic, multimedia assemblies that will share real life scenarios and science-based facts about substance abuse.

CONGRESSMAN BILL POSEY

Last week Speaker Pelosi pushed through a massive "voting reform" that will strip states of their Constitutional authority to run their own elections and create loopholes that are ripe for fraud and abuse. Many European and other countries have recently adopted election safeguards to make their elections more secure—unfortunately, this bill moves America in the opposite direction. Some of the more damaging highlights of this bill include:
  • Outlaw photo voter ID laws in favor of sworn statements.
  • Require same-day registration that will allow anyone without a verified identity to cast potentially fraudulent ballots.
  • Provides for ballot harvesting—when partisan operatives and shadowy groups collect massive amounts of ballots with no accountability.
  • Creates a federal contribution matching program forcing taxpayers to fund candidates they may not necessarily agree with.

To better secure our elections against fraud and foreign interference, I have introduced my own election reform—three simple initiatives that can provide accountability and ensure the integrity of our election process. (1) Prohibiting voting machines from connecting to the Internet, (2) requiring election hardware and software be American made, and (3) ensuring that election machines are fully auditable and that elections officials have no authority to deny audits due to proprietary software or hardware issues.

Americans deserve honest, fair and transparent elections.

SENATOR RUBIO ON SENATE FLOOR - A MUST WATCH

Unity - The only way to win!

As we approach the 2022 mid-term elections and the 2024 presidential election, and in light of the abject failure of the Biden administration, we know that the very survival of our republic depends on the outcome of those elections. Therefore, we must stay unified. Never lose sight of who our political opponents are… the progressive left Democrats who are taking our country off a cliff with the active help of Big Tech and the old-line national news media. Our fellow Republicans are not the enemy!
