Hello,

Today, the world remembers the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 

Dr. King’s words and actions have inspired millions of activists for decades. One speech that is inspiring Team MDP today is this:

“In spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream.” - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Right now, Democrats are working hard to overcome the difficulties and frustrations placed in their way in order to put our country on the path toward progress. 

When we look back at milestones in this country, we see Democrats leading the way. Social Security. Medicare. The Voting Rights Act. The Affordable Care Act. The list goes on.

We know that when Democrats win, Democrats lead our country forward. 

Dr. King believed in an America where all people are heard, respected, and seen. Today, on the day that we honor Dr. King’s life and legacy, we can recommit our shared promise to overcome the difficulties and frustrations of our work to make a better, more just, and more fair America for us all.
