I watched the movie Don’t Look Up yesterday. It’s a satire of how society is treating the climate emergency. In the movie, a comet is heading towards Earth that will destroy the entire planet…and everyone just ignores the danger.

 

Every day feels that with the climate crisis. It’s like we’re living in an alternate reality. Instead of trying to save the planet and human civilization, both parties continue on their merry way: approving drilling permits and handing out subsidies to the fossil fuel industry.
