Folks, the ACLU of Arkansas is suing GOP state officials over their redistricting map – arguing that it violates the Voting Rights Act by intentionally underrepresenting Black voters in Arkansas.

These biased maps from the Arkansas Legislature are just the latest developments in an uptick of voting rights attacks from Republican-led states.

These tactics drive us further from the true promise of our democracy — and if these attacks on voting rights are allowed to continue, we may soon find that no one’s voice is able to be heard.

In order to restore faith in our electoral process, we must ensure every person has access to the ballot box.
