As we begin a brand new year, I’m more determined than ever to protect our democracy and make progress on the policy issues most important to all Americans.
In 2021, we accomplished so much necessary progress — from the American Rescue Plan to the massive Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act — and I’m going to need your help to keep building on these historic measures.
Can you take my short 2022 Priorities Survey to let me know what you think we should focus on? With voting rights, health care, child care, and climate action hanging in the balance, on top of the need to defeat this pandemic, so much is at stake. And, of course, there is the absolute imperative of holding onto control of the House and Senate in the midterms. 2022 is ripe with possibilities. And the pressure is mounting with midterm elections looming. That means we need to finish the job of passing President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda while protecting and expanding our slim Democratic majorities.
Democratic control of the House and Senate is key to passing laws on climate action, universal health care, reproductive rights, gun safety, and more. Remember, not a single Republican voted for the American Rescue Plan . It’s why I’m doing everything I can to help elect new and incumbent Democrats in the House and the Senate so we can keep our country on the path to progress.
