Jack,
This year is different.
After a weekend of campaign events talking about protecting our democracy in Georgia, we need to elevate the words of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s descendants on the eve of his national day of remembrance.
Dr. King's family is calling on us to put the fight for voting rights first and foremost – even above the parades and celebrations.
Jack, in my years as Democratic Party Chair of Georgia's 3rd-largest county, I was proud to increase the number of polling places we had available.
During my tenure, we were able to secure historic victories such as electing Congresswoman Lucy McBath in a previously deep-red area, and I prided myself on making it easier to vote no matter who you were or what party you identified with.
On this weekend where we are set to remember the accomplishments of a great civil rights leader, the connections to our modern-day voting rights movement are clear.
Jack, can you support our campaign to protect the integrity of elections in Georgia?
Sincerely,
