Check out the latest from NYGOP Volume 46 | January 16th, 2022 This Week at the NYGOP Follow Us On Social Media! Dear {First Name}, On Monday, the New York Republican Party and several of our New York City Republican elected officials filed a lawsuit to block Democrats' radical new law allowing non-citizens the right to vote. This outrageous law is unconstitutional and un-American. I warned Democrats that if the passed it, I would use every legal tool in my arsenal to fight it and protect the sanctity of citizen voting. The law is clear and the ethics are even clearer: we shouldn’t be allowing citizens of other nations to vote in our elections, full stop. Democrats could care less about the rule of law--they will do anything to ram through their radical agenda. They are on a mission to eradicate all the lines between citizens and non-citizens and it is our mission to stop it at all costs. We were also proud to announce this week that the 2022 NYGOP State Convention, where the nomination of our 2022 ticket will take place, will be in Nassau County from February 28th to March 1st. There is no better place to host our convention than Nassau County. They sent shockwaves around the state last November with their tremendous Republican victories and their historic success is proof that our Republican message is resonating with a broad swath of voters. I’m thrilled that Nassau GOP Chairman Joe Cairo has agreed to host us. He is the ultimate strategist who is a key part of our team helping to lead our candidates to victory. We look forward to putting a huge spotlight on how we plan to replicate Nassau’s victories statewide. There is incredible energy and enthusiasm for this year’s election and our convention will be the official kickoff to our statewide campaigns and our shared mission to save New York State. Sincerely, Nick Langworthy NYGOP Chairman LISTEN: Chairman Langworthy Joins The Capitol Pressroom with David Lombardo Listen to Chairman Langworthy discuss the impending 2022 red wave, the NYGOP convention, and more! The City Council’s five Republicans — the largest GOP conference in decades — vowed to be a vanguard against soft-on-crime progressives who mirror the politics of left-wingers like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and her “Squad” in Congress. “There are now five Republicans in the council who are going to be the voice countering the progressive wing of the Democratic Party,” said Inna Vernikov, a Trump die-hard and newly elected lawmaker from Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. “We have an obligation to speak up for the 565,000 registered Republicans in this city. If they were an ethnic or religious group they would be one of the largest in New York. They deserve to have representation in City Hall as well,” Staten Island Councilman Joe Borelli — the new minority leader — told The Post. Read Full Here Ready to take back our state?
