John — If you’re like me, you’re probably inundated with regular robocalls alleging to be from “Warranty Services” or the “Social Security Division.”

These illegal spam calls are more than a nuisance. They’re dangerous. They routinely scam people, particularly seniors, out of their savings and are used every day to steal sensitive personal and financial information — and we need to put a stop to it.

John, will you add your name to my petition calling on Congress to pass legislation to put an end to these illegal robocalls?

I know how fed up Pennsylvanians are with these scams. That’s why I led a bipartisan coalition of 34 Attorneys General calling on the Federal Communications Commission to create new rules to allow telephone service providers to block more illegal robocalls.

Now, legislation has been introduced in Congress to crack down on these robocalls, but we need to rally support for it.
