My colleagues and I who work in IJM’s Guatemala office are thrilled to see so many supporters in the United States advocating for an end to domestic and sexual violence in Central America.
Right now, thousands of people from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras are fleeing brutal violence. Every day, women are being murdered and children are being abused.
However, when I joined hundreds of advocates in Washington, DC last month, I saw firsthand how powerful your voices are in the fight to end this violence.
If you weren’t able to join us, you can still use your voice to make a difference!
This bill has already passed the House of Representatives, and by signing and sharing this petition, you can help make sure it passes the Senate.
I am here in Guatemala, fighting for justice. Will you stand with me and fight to protect the women and children of my country?
