We're counting on you today
because this is an important year in the most aggressive strategic
plan The Trust for Public Land has ever pursued. We're working
to conserve one million acres of land, open Community
Schoolyards(TM) in 20 underserved school districts, preserve 1,000
miles of scenic rivers, and build or connect 1,000 miles of trails
- all by the year 2025.

It's an ambitious vision,
but with your membership support, step by step, we can achieve it!
That's why we hope you'll take this opportunity to start
your annual membership with a gift today.

Your membership gift for 2022 will help us continue the
amazing progress we're making together for parks and public land
- and the people who rely on them - including:

* Helping our Federal Affairs team defend public lands.?From
advocating for critical conservation funding, to making sure
that our national monuments, parks, and green spaces are
preserved for generations to come, our team in Washington, D.C.
is working tirelessly to protect the future of public lands.
* Converting?bare concrete schoolyards into vibrant public
parks. All too often, schoolyards look more like parking lots
than playgrounds.?Through our Community Schoolyards
projects, we're working to transform underused schoolyards
into vibrant public parks full of trees, shade, and places to
play and enjoy the outdoors.
* Ensuring that every person in America has a park or open space
within a 10-minute walk of home.?Study after study has
shown that parks are critical to the physical, social,
environmental, and economic health of a community. Even so, 100
million people in America, including 28 million kids don't
have a close-to-home park. We're going to change that! But
we can't do it alone.

In fact, in 2021, support from members
helped us make progress towards these goals by expanding the Sabinoso
Wilderness in New Mexico. The 9,855-acre CaƱon Ciruela property is the
single largest gift of land in American history for the expansion of a
federal wilderness area. We also were able to conserve pristine
forestland in Kingfield, Maine for people and wildlife, and build
parks in neighborhoods where too few residents reap the benefits of
green space - like Dominick Andujar Park in Camden, New Jersey.

But 2022 is under way, and we have
a lot more work to do together.

John, that is why
we are asking you to become a member and join The Trust for Public
Land today.

every $1 of your membership gift will save $11 of land. Please
multiply your impact for public lands by joining today!
