Friend,

It's official. Jeff Sessions is running for Senate in Alabama against Democrat Doug Jones.

Let's be clear: Jeff Sessions is an extremist and has no place back in the Senate.

I know we've been reaching out to you a lot lately for help, but it's because there is so much at stake. We need Doug Jones in the Senate--we can't take back the majority without him, and to be frank with you, it's going to be a really tough race.

Will you rush a split donation right now to defend Doug, and help flip the Senate blue?

Jeff Sessions' record on civil rights is deeply disturbing. He voted against the Affordable Care Act, which would strip health care away from people with pre-existing conditions, every chance he got. And he oversaw the separation of children from their families as Trump's Attorney General.

And Doug? As a U.S. Attorney, he prosecuted members of the KKK for the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing. He's fighting for health care and equal rights, and he's working hard to make people's lives better.

The difference between Doug Jones and Jeff Sessions couldn't be more clear.

We need Senators who will work together to get things done. This week proved yet again that Democrats can win everywhere, if we organize and show up. And a huge part of that is having the resources to compete.

Please split a contribution to Doug Jones' campaign and my campaign, and let's make sure Jeff Sessions never sets foot in the Senate again.

Thanks, team.
