Lawrence debate: I believe John Ventre won both the Carlisle and Lawrence debates and crushed his opposition in Lawrence as the only candidate to actually answer the questions and praise Pres Trump! Many candidates at the caucus told me so.



From WKBN27 LAST NIGHT: “Everything that Wolf has done, falls on Shapiro because he is the Attorney General. It’s no different than Fetterman or Kamala Harris advancing to the next level. I got a 20-point check list on Shapiro that I won’t get through,” said retired U.P.S. executive John Ventre.



From WTAE: Some candidates focused on improving the state’s economy.



“We are rated number 42 in business growth, number 48th in population, the way you fix that is with a very large business tax cut,” John Ventre said.



From New Castle news: Lord also asked if the candidates believed, yes or no, if Joe Biden was president of the United States and that he won Pennsylvania in 2020. The candidates, reluctantly, said Biden did win, but surmised the system that elected him was broken. Only Ventre said Biden is not the winner.



The Daily Item; (Richey copied my plan): Richey and Ventre said they would make Election Day a public holiday in the state. There was unanimous agreement to repeal Act 77 and support for mandated voter ID at the polls.

Earlier this week I expressed my concerns regarding attending the 6 republican caucus meetings since my belief was that the elected state committee members were only interested in the 5 elected officials and not the 9 political outsiders in the race. I said I would attend in protest of their picking a straw poll winner against the people’s will. After participating in this morning’s central caucus, I have decided that I will NOT participate in the 5 remaining caucus game shows. Today was no different than trying to be voted committee chair when they control the proxy votes.



Candidates were allowed a 3-minute opening statement and 10 minutes for questions. After my opening statement, I received only 2 questions regarding my 27-point plan totaling no more than 3 of my 10 allotted minutes. As expected, they had no interest in what my platform was. One misinformed question challenged my plan to allow heart-beat abortions in Pittsburgh and Philly only. Looking the crowd over, I could see I was not welcome there. I suspect my palm card which called PA the most corrupt state due to Act 77 didn’t endear me to this swamp that voted for mail in ballots and unapologetically still support the act and the 4 candidates that cost President Trump the state.



All candidates gathered in the hallway prior to the individual interviews. Nearly every candidate told me they enjoyed my Carlisle and Lawrence debate answers and that I clearly won the Lawrence debate. I fully intend to campaign in front of patriot and committee groups and will most definitely participate in the Feb GOP Winter Meeting debate where I will defeat their swamp candidates on stage in front of the GOP swamp members. I liken this to Russell Crow in Gladiator in the arena. These republicans think an elected official or Oligarch with the most campaign funds will win but the people want a Trump Tea Party Patriot and that is John Ventre.

As expected, Gov. Wolf vetoed the General Assembly's disapproval resolution opposing his plans to unilaterally join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). Wolf and majorities in the House and Senate have long been at odds over joining RGGI, which threatens to raise energy prices for Pennsylvanians and cost thousands of jobs.
