Green Party of the United States

Being a sustainer is crucial because the Green Party accepts no

corporate money.

Dear?Friend,

Happy Saturday! While much of the country is hunkering down against this cold snap, we want to warm your hearts by celebrating January's featured Green Party?Monthly Sustainer,?Bill Kreml!

Bill is known to many Greens and movement allies as a political philosopher, university professor, book author and candidate for office.

Born in?Evanston, Illinois, Bill taught and researched principally at The University of South Carolina but also gave guest lectures at Princeton, Northwestern, among others, and was visiting professor at The University of Peking in 1994 and again in 1997.

From Bill:

Being a sustainer is crucial because the Green Party accepts no corporate money. There are limits to personal contributions and the Democrats' recent attempts to pass what they called a "Voting Rights Bill" would have further restricted the amount of money we can receive from Federal matching funds. Please become a monthly sustainer.

Bill, it is an honor to have someone of your stature as a Monthly Sustainer, in addition to the many other ways you have contributed to political progress.

You have our gratitude, and the gratitude of countless Green candidates, supporters and voters!
