In theory, passing this shouldn’t be a difficult feat. But Senator Kyrsten Sinema is holding us back.

Less than 24 hours after Joe Biden called for passage of the voting rights legislation named for John Lewis, Sinema went to the floor of the Senate and gave a maddening speech. She made it clear she will not support any filibuster reforms, even if that means sacrificing our democracy to devastating Republican attacks on voting rights.

We have no choice now but to replace her with a better Democrat.
