The Democrats and President Biden continue to show how out of touch they are with the American people. Biden's recent speech calling for an end to the filibuster and gutting states' rights on election integrity just goes to show how their policies are not aligned with what voters want.

Biden's speech in Georgia this week was appalling and the most divisive speech any president has ever given. He called anyone who disagreed with him on election laws a racist.

Texans simply want safe and secure elections, and they want to be sure their vote is counted. They support legislation that will make it easier to vote and harder to cheat. Don't just take my word for it. Take a look at the numbers:

1. 82 percent of Texas voters support making vote harvesting a third-degree felony, a provision in our Election Integrity Bill.
2. 86 percent of Texans support longer early voting hours.
3. 74 percent of Texans support adding your license number or the last four digits of your social security number to mail-in ballots.

We passed our election integrity law — not only because it is overwhelmingly popular — but because it is the right thing to do. We made it easier to vote and hard to cheat in Texas.

Democrat policies remain unpopular and directly oppose the values that make Texas a beacon of freedom unto the nation. Biden's commitment to undermining the security of our elections is a danger to our democracy and will not be tolerated in Texas.

With Biden's tanking approval ratings now at a dismal 33 percent (I'm shocked it's that high), it's no wonder most Americans disapprove of his presidency. He continues to ignore the will of the American people, and supports a radical, unpopular leftist agenda!

The Lone Star State will continue fighting for the values that make our state the best in the country and will continue standing up against a radical administration to fight for what Texans support. We won't back down.

In Texas, we are turning conservative policy into conservative legislation. The Democrats are trying to defeat me at the ballot box because of this, and they will stop at nothing to defeat me in 2022. Can I count on your support of $5-10-25 or more to help me keep fighting?
