Hi team —

A lot has happened since we kicked off the new year, so here’s a quick update on the work Josh is doing to deliver meaningful results for North Carolinians:

North Carolinians are bombarded with millions of robocalls every year, and many of them originate from scammers overseas. Not only are these calls invasive and unwanted, but they are draining millions of dollars from the wallets of our residents. That’s why Josh is leading a bipartisan coalition of 51 attorneys general across the country in calling on the FCC to put the proper measures in place to protect people from these scammers.

On top of that, this week, all 100 counties and 45 largest municipalities across North Carolina signed on to the $26 billion multistate opioid agreement that Josh and his team recently fought to secure. This important milestone will ensure North Carolina receives its full $750 million share of the settlement and go toward treatment and recovery services to North Carolinians who are struggling with opioid addiction.

These are just two of the latest examples of Josh’s work to improve people’s lives. But we cannot afford to slow down now. By making a contribution today, our team will have the resources to support Josh in his fight for justice, fairness, and accountability.

We’re counting on you to step up to ensure Josh has the resources for the work ahead this year. Will you pitch in $10 or any amount today to help hit our team’s first fundraising goal of 2022? [[link removed]]
