Folks — The GOP gained control of the House and the Governor’s Mansion, but Virginia Democrats are going to continue to fight to protect and expand the progress we’ve made over the last 4 years regardless of the right-wing wolf in a moderate’s vest in the Governor’s office.

From expanding Medicaid to over 500,000 Virginians to leading us through the COVID-19 pandemic, the leadership of Virginia Democrats have kept folks across the commonwealth safe and healthy.

Under Democratic leadership voting became more accessible to all Virginians. The early voting period was extended to 45-days; no-excuse absentee voting became permissible; voter registration is now automatic through the DMV; and Election Day became a state holiday.

With a Democratic trifecta we ratified the ERA, removed confederate monuments, and passed the Virginia Values Act. We abolished the death penalty, legalized marijuana, passed common sense gun reform, and so many more things to help make Virginia a more welcoming and accepting commonwealth.

Help us send a message to the Republicans fighting to undo all our progress in Richmond by making Glenn Youngkin’s inauguration day the biggest day in online fundraising the Democratic Party of Virginia has ever seen.
