My fellow American,

On Monday, the President announced his decision to formally withdraw the United States from the Paris Climate Accord, even though our nation is the second-highest emitter of greenhouse gases.

The United States has always been a beacon of hope — a trailblazing nation that has led the international community in times of peril and crisis. Until now.

We simply do not have time on our side — the dangerous consequences of climate change will not wait for us to get our act together, which is why I’m asking you to join me in demanding that the President rescind his decision.
