Friend,

Donald Trump won Breathitt County, Kentucky, by 45 percentage points.

This week, Democrats Andy Beshear and Jacqueline Coleman won it.

This is a transformation—a signal that folks all over Kentucky are fed up with people who make our politics so toxic and ugly. Matt Bevin was the most unpopular governor in the entire country, and he just lost his job.

It just so happens America’s most unpopular senator is up for re-election next year right here in our state. If you had any doubt that Mitch McConnell can be defeated in 2020, Tuesday night’s election result should convince you.

Our campaign intends to compete in every corner of Kentucky. We refuse to turn our backs away from counties like Breathitt that some folks in Washington, D.C., say Democrats can’t win.

Together, we will give Mitch McConnell a fight like he’s never seen in his 35 years in the Senate—and we will win.

Your donations will make it possible and help our campaign go toe-to-toe with the special interests on the other side. Will you chip in today?
