Team,

I have been working my tail off to help Democrats win across the map in 2020 — and I want to turn your attention to what’s going on in Alabama right now:

Jeff Sessions announced he’s running for his old U.S. Senate seat and against my good friend, Doug Jones.

Sessions is the last person we need in the Senate. He’s too extreme and too divisive. And he has only added to the problem by being one of the biggest reasons Washington is so dysfunctional.

The good news is that Doug is in a strong position to win his re-election. He outraised the entire Republican field last quarter and leads every single one of them in the polls. But to pull off this win, we’re going to need your help:

So, I'm asking you to add a donation of $10 or more to help Doug win his re-election and keep Jeff Sessions out of the Senate. Your contribution would help our fight to take back the Senate in 2020:

While Republicans are busy licking their wounds from their losses in 2018, we need to get to work now. As we've seen in recent days, we can win up and down the ballot — even in the reddest of areas — but it means mustering all the resources we can to support people like Doug.

His narrow victory in 2017 means Republicans are going to throw everything they've got at him. Winning this election will be our best shot at taking back the Senate majority — that's why I'm asking you:

Will you step up to support Doug’s re-election campaign and keep Jeff Sessions out of the Senate? You can donate right here:

Democrats made history in Alabama in 2017, so we know how to win. But we must come together if we’re going to stand any chance at beating Jeff Sessions or whoever else Mitch McConnell may throw at us.

I'm committed to making sure that we protect every Democrat in the Senate and elect more of them. I hope you will join me.
