In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to split a $25 contribution between my re-election campaign for Senate and CommonGood. Please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.

Here’s the truth:

We’re kicking-off our mid-month fundraising drive today — one we have to launch now because we’ve started the year a bit more slowly than we’d have liked.

The drive ends on Saturday night — the same night Donald Trump returns to Arizona for another rally to fire up his supporters.

I’m sure our campaign will come up at the rally. Last time he was here, he said “Taking America back begins with kicking Mark Kelly the hell out of the United States Senate.” And I’m sure it will inspire his followers to donate and volunteer this time around, too.

So, we’re hoping for a BIG week before he arrives. The amount we raise during this drive is important, but the number of donations we receive is just as important to me. And that’s why I’m asking:

Can you please make today the day you split a contribution of $25 or more between my re-election campaign for the U.S. Senate and CommonGood? I would not ask were it not so important. [[link removed]]
