Make no mistake: we are not backing down on voting rights.

In the coming days, the Senate will finally debate and vote on the Freedom to Vote and John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Acts -- and vote on changing the filibuster rules if Republicans continue to stand in our way.

What we do between now and then will determine if we can uphold the very core of our democracy. And we need everyone reading this email to step up and stand with Chuck if we're going to protect the right to vote.

We've seen what Republicans are capable of -- the anniversary of January 6 last week was a stark reminder that they're willing to sweep an insurrection under the rug and turn a blind eye while state legislatures dismantle voting rights.
