Satanists will be giving a public invocation at Kenai, Alaska at the beginning of the town Council Meeting!
Satanist Iris Fontana applied to give a satanic invocation at the Kenai Borough Meeting, and was accepted without any protest.
The date of the invocation is set for January 18.
Sign the petition at Return to Order, urging the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly to stop the satanic invocation.
Iris Fontana has given satanic invocations over the years.
According to reports:
"In August of [2016], a woman named Iris Fontana kicked off a meeting with an invocation calling up satanism. Her remarks ended: 'Hail Satan...'
"'It's still somewhat a controversial issue and it's going to be interesting to see how people react to what some may consider fringe religions -- the Wiccan, atheist, Flying Spaghetti Monster, the Satanic Temple,' said [Assembly member, Willie Dunne]... 'They're all lined up to give invocations. I don't know if people will find that acceptable or not. We'll have to find out and see.'" (www.ADN.com; emphasis added)
Tell Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly: NO Satanic invocations.
Nothing is "acceptable" about Satanism, and locals have always protested against these invocations.
We are living in a time where good and evil are put on equal plains, and satanic actions like these break down the barriers of horror we still have against evil.
We must show our rejection!
Please sign our petition, urging the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly to cancel its satanic invocation.
