It’s hard to believe that I’ve been in Congress working for San Diego communities for a full year.

I am so proud of what we’ve accomplished during my time in Congress thus far, from delivering the Child Tax Credit to passing the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to passing the Build Back Better bill in the House. Additionally, I have stood with my colleagues to demand an extension of the federal eviction moratorium, cosponsored 342 pieces of legislation, and was the only freshman member appointed to Speaker Pelosi’s Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth.

I was also honored to support many projects and communities right here in the district, including securing infrastructure and airport updates as well as $3 million in Community Project Funding. I prioritized communication with my constituents through five town halls and responses to over 35,000 constituent letters.

There is still so much work to be done, which is why I’m so excited to be running for re-election to continue serving so many of my current constituents and a number of new communities in California’s newly-drawn 51st Congressional District.
