On January 6, 2021, Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks
took the stage before Donald Trump and delivered his own
incendiary speech urging Trump’s supporters to “take down names
and kick ass.”

But before serving as Trump’s warm up act that
day, Brooks was already a leading figure in pushing baseless
election fraud lies, proudly telling Steve Bannon on his podcast
before the insurrection that he “led the charge.”

From tweets warning that Dems would steal the
White House and falsely claiming that dead people voted, to
claims by “Stop the Steal” organizers that they worked with
Brooks’ office to push lawmakers to block President Biden’s
certification, it’s becoming clearer how Brooks “led the charge.”

This behavior is unacceptable for a sitting
Congressman, and why Hank introduced a measure in the House to
remove Brooks from office. If you support Hank’s efforts at

Brooks’ actions go beyond his role leading up to
the insurrection. When lawmakers were trapped inside the Capitol
building fearing for their lives, a Republican congressional aide
told CNN that Brooks was glad it was happening and was cheering
this on.

John, no one who relishes
the invasion of our Capitol deserves to serve there. We support
Hank calling for Brooks' dismissal from the House of
