We’re not going to beat around the bush,
John.

Women’s Marchers all across the country organized tirelessly to help win
the White House AND both chambers of Congress — and together, we did it.

We refuse to let our hard work go to waste because conservative Democrats
like Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin are siding with their GOP colleagues
in support of the filibuster and effectively blocking our chances of
passing any part of Biden’s agenda.

Now that Democrats control the White House, Senate, and the House, we have
a rare and important opportunity to pass bold action on issues we care
about, like climate justice, racial justice, expanding voting rights, and
more. But building our feminist future can't happen with the
obstructionist filibuster in the way, so we must abolish it once and for
all.

[ [link removed] ]Will you sign our petition demanding Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin do
their job, stop supporting the GOP’s dangerous agenda, and vote to end the
filibuster? We need to send a message loud and clear that Women’s Marchers
are watching and we will not let our hard work be trampled by their
political games.

venture to guess that Women's Marchers like you know exactly what it feels
like when you're trying to get a word in, but a man just won't stop
talking.

If that's true for you, then you've got a pretty good idea of what it's
like to have to deal with a filibuster on the floor of the U.S. Senate.

The filibuster is a political procedure where one or more members of
Congress speak for a prolonged period of time with the purpose of delaying
— or outright obstructing — legislation from being brought up to a vote.
President Obama recently called the filibuster a “Jim Crow relic," because
of its use by segregationists to block landmark civil rights legislation.

We must do everything we can to eliminate the filibuster, but it will take
an enormous public pressure campaign to make sure Kyrsten Sinema and Joe
Manchin understand the gravity of their actions. That's why it's crucial
that as many Women's Marchers as possible add their voices to this
petition today and remind them that we’re watching:
