BREAKING NEWS:
the Ohio Supreme Court just threw out the gerrymandered Congressional maps drawn by the Ohio GOP.
The Ohio Supreme Court just ruled 4 - 3 once again to overturn partisan maps drawn by Ohio Republicans. These now-scrapped maps only serve to disenfranchise Ohioans and will now be thrown in the ash heap of history, right where they belong.
As Justice Michael Donnelly noted in the Court’s opinion, “When the dealer stacks the deck in advance, the house usually wins.”
Team, today’s decision was a victory for democracy, and we are elated. But with the state legislature tasked with redrawing the map within 30 days, the future of our district is still uncertain. Can you contribute $20 today to help us keep fighting against a stacked deck and coming out on top?
