The Biggest Blunder of the Pandemic
Friend,

School shutdowns throughout the past two years have been incredibly harmful to our kids. Since the outset of the pandemic, anxiety and depression in our children is up, suicide is alarmingly high, and more and more students have fallen behind. But rather than learn from our mistakes, we're once again seeing school districts in Wisconsin resort to shutting down. This is completely unacceptable.

As you and I both know, remote learning is a joke. It's incredibly damaging to the health of our kids and is nothing more than a euphemism for shutdowns and student failure. Shame on us if we repeat these mistakes again.

That's why I'm fighting to make sure school districts in Wisconsin and across the country stay open, and calling on Republicans and Democrats alike to stand up for the well-being of our children. Wisconsin schools received $2.4 billion to keep kids learning during the pandemic. They need to use this to keep kids learning in the classroom.

Semper Fi,
