While Republicans and corporate special interests continue to try and block meaningful investments in our communities, Ayanna and our movement have stayed focused on what matters most: fighting for the people and delivering on the priorities that voters elected Democrats to pass.
That’s why we’ve kept up the pressure on the Senate to pass the Build Back Better Act, critical legislation that includes transformative investments in paid leave, childcare, eldercare, education, climate action, and more.
But Republicans and special interests have their eyes set on the 2022 midterm elections, and they’re hoping to deflate the progressive momentum we’ve worked so hard to build with continued obstruction and lies. We can’t let that happen.
