If we don't abolish the filibuster and pass the Freedom to Vote Act now, there won't be a "next time".
I’ll speak frankly: Yesterday, Senator Krysten Sinema delivered a hypocritical speech in support of voting and civil rights, but maintains that she will continue to block filibuster reform. Our right to vote is in immediate danger as long as the filibuster remains in place.
Krysten Sinema knows this and still refuses to act.
We are so close to abolishing the filibuster and cannot afford to lose any ground in this battle for democracy. If you support my campaign’s work to protect voting rights, consider chipping in $3 today to help us in our fight.

Less than two years ago, we lost my friend, civil rights giant, and longtime congressman, Rep. John Lewis. I am reminded of his immortal words:
"Voting and participating in the democratic process are key. The vote is the most powerful nonviolent change agent you have in a democratic society. You must use it because it is not guaranteed. You can lose it.”
We must honor the legacy of those who tirelessly marched forward to not only protect but expand the right to vote for disenfranchised Americans. Will you join me and contribute $3 to this campaign so we can continue their work in Washington?
This is a pivotal moment not only in the history of our nation but for the future of democracy. If we don’t abolish the filibuster and pass the Freedom to Vote Act now, there won’t be a “next time”.
