In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a $20 contribution to my re-election campaign for Senate. Please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important.
Here’s the truth:
We’re kicking-off our mid-month fundraising drive today — one we have to launch now because we’ve started the year a bit more slowly than we’d have liked.
The drive ends tomorrow night — the same night Donald Trump returns to Arizona for another rally to fire up his supporters.
I’m sure our campaign will come up at the rally. Last time he was here, he said “Taking America back begins with kicking Mark Kelly the hell out of the United States Senate.” And I’m sure it will inspire his followers to donate and volunteer this time around, too.
So, we’re hoping for a BIG week before he arrives. The amount we raise during this drive is important, but the number of donations we receive is just as important to me. And that’s why I’m asking:
