Earlier this week, the Senate held confirmation hearings for Jerome Powell, Biden's nominee for Chair of the Federal Reserve—and thanks to your advocacy, the climate crisis was front and center in the hearing. (In fact, he was pressed on the issue eight times!)

Reducing climate-related financial risk (like shrinking the amount of money banks loan fossil fuel corporations) is an essential part of our plan to end the climate crisis, and we were thrilled to hear top senators get Powell on the record agreeing that climate will be a top priority for the Fed.
