Logistics operators are overcoming labor shortages by employing software-powered robotic arms to handle tasks ranging from sorting products to picking items from bins and packing them for shipment. Ash Sharma, Interact Analysis' managing director, says robotic arm technology "is a niche today in the overall warehouse automation market," but the firm predicts it will grow from an estimated $137 million market in 2021 to $1.34 billion in 2025.

The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected OSHA rules on workplace COVID-19 vaccines and testing in a 6-3 vote while upholding a similar regulation from the Department of Health and Human Services that affects health care facilities. "Indeed, although Congress has enacted significant legislation addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, it has declined to enact any measure similar to what OSHA has promulgated here," the unsigned opinion by the court's majority said.
