Repeal the IMD Exclusion Hello John, Did you see the op-ed that I wrote for The Hill yesterday? In it, I call on states to follow Maryland's lead and waive the discriminatory IMD exclusion and for Congress to step up and repeal the IMD exclusion, full stop. Last week, the Maryland Department of Health gained authority to waive the discriminatory IMD exclusion, after our tireless work. This will save countless lives and is a huge win for low-income Marylanders, but we have to keep the pressure up on Congress to repeal the discriminatory IMD exclusion in full while also helping states like Maryland apply for waivers.
