Dear John,
Last year, people like you helped the
Alzheimer's Association make unprecedented progress in the fight
against Alzheimer's and provide support for an increasing number of
people living with the disease.
Now it's a new year. And I'm sure
you'd agree, one of America's top priorities must be the ongoing fight
against Alzheimer's. It's critical to our health, our lives and our
future.
Please lead the way by making your
contribution to our Annual Fund Drive today. You'll help advance
critical research, provide vital care and support, and make 2022 a
year of impact.

A new year offers a fresh start.
Please make 2022 the year you make your first gift. Your very generous
2022 gift now will help advance our mission to lead the way to end
Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by accelerating global
research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing
quality care and support.

Today, there are more than 6 million
people living with Alzheimer's in the United States and more than 50
million worldwide. These numbers are expected to skyrocket to a
projected 13.8 million and 152 million, respectively, by mid-century.
The potential for earlier diagnosis
and the development of better treatments may significantly improve the
lives of millions of people living with Alzheimer's. In the meantime,
the cost of care will continue to rise dramatically, increasing the
challenges for those living with the disease and the people caring for
them.
It's time to face those challenges and
stand strong as a community. Make your 2022 Annual Fund Drive
contribution today.

Never has the case for accelerated
progress been more urgent. In the United States, 10,000 baby boomers
turn 65 each day, and as we grow older our chance of developing
Alzheimer's goes up. As our population ages, the number of people
living with the disease will significantly increase.
Even with insurance or other forms of
financial assistance, individuals living with Alzheimer's or another
dementia and their caregivers still incur high out-of-pocket costs.
Alzheimer's cost $355 billion in 2021 in the United States alone, and
this number will increase to $1.1 trillion by 2050 unless we find a
way to prevent, treat or delay the disease.

Our 2022 Annual Fund Drive is one of
our most important efforts because it helps us pursue top priorities
in the year ahead, such as:
* Expanding access to quality care for those who need it and
broadening overall support to those living with the disease.
* Increasing our investment in research to accelerate risk
reduction and more effective treatment for Alzheimer's and all
other dementia.
* Securing significant advances in our state and federal policy
priorities to improve the lives of those with dementia, as well
as their caregivers.
* Strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion by addressing
barriers that may interfere with members of diverse communities
from receiving Alzheimer's education, care and support.
Even the biggest obstacles are no
match for our community when we come together. Please join us in
support of this crucial movement by making a generous gift to our 2022
Annual Fund Drive now. Thank you so much.

More people than ever will rely on the
Alzheimer's Association this year. Our ability to meet the growing
need for care and support and increase funding for research that can
lead to improved diagnostics, more effective treatment and, one day, a
cure, depends on your support.
