Happy New Year SacDSA members!

Join us this upcoming Saturday at 1:30pm on Zoom for our first general membership meeting of the year. For everyone's safety, we are holding off on hybrid meetings until the covid surge has subsided.

On the agenda, SacDSA's new Harassment and Grievance Officer (HGO) Thomas will introduce himself to the chapter. Kyle, our existing HGO will also address the chapter. Committee co-chairs will provide the latest updates on committee activities. We will also solicit delegate nominees to the new California DSA State Council.

Over the past few years, DSA has made major strides organizing across chapters at the state-wide level. Last spring, Sacramento DSA joined a supermajority of other California DSA chapters to scale up that work by voting to form a new statewide organization. Now it's finally time to elect a delegation from our chapter to serve on the new California DSA State Council. Sacramento DSA will elect three delegates, this number is based on our membership. More information about delegate responsibilities can be found on the nomination form.
