Help send a message to Marjorie Taylor Greene: Enough is Enough → [[link removed]]

John -- On the anniversary of Jan. 6, Republican lawmakers Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz held a press conference to unfairly shift blame for the events that took place.

Greene threatened that “when Republicans take back the House,” there will be a new "January 6 committee that looks for the truth.”

The Democratically-controlled House is already investigating the attempted insurrection, as well as folks with possible ties to the actions of the day like Steve Bannon and Michael Flynn.

But if Republicans gerrymander their way to taking back the House, they can shut down or obstruct this necessary investigation. Marjorie Taylor Greene has already said she’s committed to reshaping the committee. This investigation is too important to turn into a right-wing-controlled political witch hunt.

Ending gerrymandering is one of the most important things we can do to shore up our democracy. It’s why we’ve spent more than $1 million pressuring Congress to pass federal voting rights legislation before the midterm elections.

Senate Majority Leader Schumer said he plans to persuade his Democratic colleagues to change Senate rules this month, so the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act won’t be held hostage by Republicans abusing a Jim Crow relic!

Will you pitch in $35 right now to help us push Congress to pass this bill? That’s just a little less than $3 for every month that Republicans who enabled the insurrection have gone with little to no accountability.

At her press conference, Greene also promised to institute unnecessary voter-ID laws and crack down on so-called stolen votes if Republicans take back the House.

And while former President Trump is rightfully no longer in office, the right-wing senators, representatives, political operatives, and enablers who helped spread falsehoods about the election and launch unsubstantiated legal challenges to the election results have yet to face the consequences for their actions.

In the aftermath of the attempted insurrection, All On The Line asked supporters like you to sign our petitions for accountability and provided online tools to contact your representatives so they can take action to protect our democracy.

That accountability is now happening. And as long as the maps are fair, the GOP will be unable to undemocratically gain a majority and end this investigation prematurely. But if Republicans get away with their gerrymanders, statements by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tell us they could once again deny accountability and shirk responsibility.

One way you can help us ensure the House can continue its investigation is by supporting All On The Line.

We need to hold insurrectionists accountable. We need to end gerrymandering. We need to defend our fragile democracy, but we need your help.

Can I count on you to make a donation to All On The Line right now?
