Before I ask you to chip in an urgent $3 to stop Kevin McCarthy from becoming Speaker of the House, here’s a quick rundown on what he’s been up to this week:

First: McCarthy threatened to REMOVE Democrats from their committee assignments if Republicans take the House. Why? Because they dared to hold radicals like Marjorie Taylor Greene accountable for bigotry and inciting violence.

Then: McCarthy made headlines for refusing to cooperate with the House committee investigating the January 6th riot.

While working families in our community struggle, McCarthy is plotting his revenge tour, paving the way for a Trump comeback, and obstructing the Jan. 6th commission. It’s sickening, to say the least.

I refuse to believe that McCarthy is untouchable. But if we’re going to stop him from getting the gavel, we need widespread grassroots support.

We set a critical end-of-week fundraising goal -- 1,000 donations from across California and the country -- to put McCarthy on notice that we are ready for this fight. Will you chip in $3 right away? We can do this.

Kevin has completely turned his back on our country.
