I’m Dr. Chris Jones — I’m a physicist, former NASA employee, Morehouse, and MIT alum. I’m running for Governor of Arkansas against Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

For as long as I can remember I've been fascinated by science. It merges imagination with facts to innovate and expand what we believe is possible.

Growing up, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to dive into my education and even pursue extracurricular science classes. That dedication paid off, and I was offered a scholarship from NASA.

Being awarded a scholarship from NASA was life-changing for me – without that money, higher education could have been out of the picture for me.

During my time at NASA and MIT, I collaborated with some of the best and brightest minds in science. Now, I’m in this race because Arkansas needs a leader who is willing to listen to science in order to guide our state to a full recovery from the pandemic.

As Governor, your health and safety will be my top priority and following the science will never be a question.
