Are you looking for a fun and engaging course for your child? Our 10-week courses for children ages 6-8 or 9-11 offer two Zoom sessions weekly where your child can learn German through song, dance, videos and games. Each session offers a variety of activities to keep your child fully engaged.

You will be guided through content tailored to your level by an expert tutor, complete engaging activities designed to develop all modes of communication, and meet virtually with the whole group to practice speaking interactively. We offer 5-week, 8-week and 16-week options from beginner to advanced levels.

Join our network of nearly 100 schools and universities across the United States. You will gain access to resources, materials, and know-how for starting German afterschool programs in your schools. The application period begins November 15, 2021 and ends January 17, 2022.

Goethe on Demand: Happy Birthday!

A number of major birthdays of famous filmmakers are coming up again in 2022. Werner Herzog’s 80th birthday will certainly find fitting tributes in the media. But we want to celebrate filmmakers beyond the big names – young and old, who work in front of and behind the camera. And how better to do this than with a film from their respective oeuvres? Once a month, our new birthday calendar will honor a selected birthday child (filmmakers, screenwriters, actors, camera operators, editors) with an appropriate film recommendation. For one month, one of their films will be available via Goethe-on-Demand.
