The midterm elections will be here before we know it, and Republicans need to flip just one seat to take back control of the Senate.

Every Democrat is gearing up to do whatever it takes to keep our majority. Today, I’m asking you to do the same. We cannot allow Republicans to succeed in taking back control of the Senate.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in the Senate this year. We started our term by helping those who needed help the most during some of the hardest days of the pandemic. We ended our first year by passing a once in a generation investment in our infrastructure that included much needed support for combating climate change, expanding broadband internet, and so much more.

But I’ll be the first to tell you that we haven’t done enough. There is still so much more we can do. We must strengthen and expand voting rights to counter the ongoing threats to our democracy that we are seeing at the state level. We must provide more support to families by tackling big issues like paid family leave, and universal pre-K. And I still want to make an historic investment in our people by passing President Biden’s Build Back Better bill.

I need your help today because we both know how much harder it will be to tackle the important issues of our day if Republicans retake the majority. We cannot let progress grind to a halt. We cannot allow any rollback of our successes from this past year.
