Dear MoveOn member,
This week, some at-risk Americans will be eligible for their fourth COVID-19 vaccine shot.1
The CDC has approved a fourth COVID vaccine dose for people who are moderately or severely immunocompromised. Israel has gone farther and is already offering fourth doses to older adults.2
Yet only 63% of Americans are vaccinated, and just 37% have received a booster dose—in large part due to rampant misinformation about COVID and vaccines spread by Republican politicians.3,4 And now, with omicron spreading like wildfire throughout the country, more Americans are hospitalized with severe COVID-19 than at any other point in the pandemic, despite the availability of safe and effective vaccines.5
Make no mistake: Republican politicians have blood on their hands. They know the truth but care more about using the pandemic to sow division, rile up their base, and win elections than protecting their communities, saving lives, and bringing this pandemic to an end.
To fight back against Republican misinformation and protect your vaccine card, we’re bringing back our FREE "Pro-Science, Pro-Health, Pro-Vaccine" vaccine card holders.
MoveOn is working to defeat at the ballot box this November the worst anti-science, conspiracy-peddling Republicans who bear responsibility for the staggering numbers of hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19 that are occurring right now, including these three Republicans:
Over the next several weeks, MoveOn will be rolling out our grassroots plan to help kick these and other dangerous Republicans out of office this fall, but if you want to get involved right now—and protect your vaccine card from damage at the same time!—you can order one of our free "Pro-Science, Pro-Health, Pro-Vaccine" vaccine card holders to help spread the word and fight back against right-wing misinformation!
Thanks for all you do.
–Kelly, Allison, Chris, Amy, and the rest of the team
P.S. As more and more state and local governments, along with private businesses, require individuals to be vaccinated in order to enter indoor spaces, you may find yourself carrying your COVID vaccine card more often. Click here to order your vaccine card holder now, while supplies last!
