Take action for immigrants today.
Generation Progress

Hey John,

On November 12, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments challenging the Trump Administration’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in 2017. Since its inception in 2012, DACA has allowed for almost 800,000 eligible young immigrants—known as Dreamers—to pursue their own American dream. For them, #HomeIsHere, and our generation is mobilizing across the country to protect their rights.

As the Supreme Court hears arguments from Dreamers and advocates, we will be rallying outside the chambers and across the country. Will you take the pledge to support Dreamers and DACA recipients, and find a rally, wherever you are, for the #HomeIsHere Day of Action on November 12?

TAKE ACTION

DACA has empowered immigrants across the country to pursue educational opportunities that they previously weren’t able to, and allowed recipients to not only be legally employed, but also move to jobs with better pay, benefits, and working conditions. Thanks to DACA, hundreds of thousands of Dreamers have been able to attend and graduate from college, pursue careers, gain financial independence, and support their families, all while building their own lives.

Together, we must defend DACA, demonstrate its value to SCOTUS, and give eligible Dreamers the chance to strive toward more permanent protections and legal status.

Join us in this fight today.
