Hello,

This is urgent. Senator Kyrsten Sinema just announced she will not support eliminating the filibuster, effectively killing Democrats’ voting rights legislation. 

It's clear a 50-50 tie in the Senate isn't cutting it. We have to expand our majority if we want to abolish the filibuster and make real progress. If we win Ohio, Democrats are virtually guaranteed to do just that.  

I’m angry and I’m sure you are too. Please, rush a donation to help us flip Ohio blue. We can’t afford to lose this race with so much on the line. 

Earlier today, I proudly cast my vote in the House to restore and strengthen voting rights. We must do whatever it takes to pass these reforms in the Senate—we can’t let a single Senator stand in our way of progress.

Look, everyone knows I’m the first person to stand up to my own party when I don’t agree with something. But we owe it to our constituents to protect our sacred voting rights, and make progress on the issues they voted for.

We should be fighting to make people’s lives easier—not harder. That’s why Americans elected us and it’s time we deliver on our promises.
