Stepping Up for the Neighbor

Clark Chickering, the part-time local pastor for Red Rock United Methodist Church, is a former chemist who drives a school bus and works as a substitute teacher. With a severe school bus driver shortage, he’s now pulling double-duty to drive for the district next door. “I thought, well, here’s an opportunity to serve people, especially young people. So I went ahead and took the opportunity.” Read his story in the Columbia Missourian at https://www.columbiamissourian.com/news/k12_education/how-harrisburg-bus-drivers-are-helping-hallsville-students-get-to-school/article_2df51306-5125-11ec-acdf-2faf99bf5cb0.html
