Team,

I’m proud to represent our district in Washington, and I’m even more proud when I come home to Northwest Indiana and see the tangible policy outcomes we create together.

The development of the Marquette Trail and improvements to surrounding communities is only one example. I’m also pleased that the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act will also provide federal funding to Northwest Indiana transportation infrastructure assets, including our airports.

Our regional airports will receive over one million dollars to increase airport safety, equity, and sustainability, and support improvements in airport infrastructure like runways, taxiways, and terminals.

I look forward to working with leaders across our region to continue to put these federal funds to work for the people of Indiana’s First Congressional District.

If you’d like to make sure I am able to continue to secure funding like this for our district, I hope you will consider making a contribution of $5, $10, or anything you can afford to our campaign today. Here’s my link: [link removed] [[link removed]]

This is just the beginning. I look forward to all of the work to come!

— Frank

Team,

There’s more to legislating than simply passing the bill — successful implementation is the key.

So when the U.S. Department of Transportation announced a federal grants program, Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE), our team knew it would take collaboration with leaders across our district to efficiently put this funding to work for the people of Northwest Indiana.

One example of this investment brought to life is the Marquette Trail. This funding will allow the trail to finally be completed, traveling from Michigan, through Indiana communities like Burns Harbor, all the way to Chicago. With the development of the trail and the foot traffic it will bring, Burns Harbor is planning to invest $49 million in its town center to build a new community center and town hall complex.

As these plans for investment are brought to life, so is our regional economy.

The impacts of the federal investments in our district extend far beyond the initial round of federal funding: the domino effect it will have on our regional economy through job creation and improvements to quality of life for our communities will continue for decades to come.

Frank is proud to have played a part in supporting this critical infrastructure funding. This is the power of leadership that never loses sight of public service. The halls of Congress can be full of many distractions, but Frank remains focused on producing outcomes for our district.

If you’d like to support Frank’s work in Congress and right here in our district, please consider making a contribution today. [[link removed]]
