Hello Colorado Republicans,

Yesterday was a great day as our legislators in the House and Senate rolled out a 44 bill package ([link removed]) based on our Commitment to Colorado. It's time we go on the offense and show working families across Colorado that Republicans are the party who can make life affordable again, prioritize our public safety, and expand educational choice for ALL parents and kids.

We are the party that can bring balance back to Colorado. It's time to end Democrat control of this state we all love.

Take a look at our House and Senate Republicans' bill package HERE. ([link removed])

We also had a candidate, Dan Maloit, announce for a very important NEW statewide seat. When Colorado gained a new Congressional District (CD8), we also gained an at-large seat on the State Board of Education. You can find out more about Dan HERE. ([link removed]) Currently, he is the only Republican in this race. We must elect someone to this seat who will stand up for the rights of parents and bring better education to ALL of our students, no matter what school they attend.

This week, I visited with Republicans from Larimer, Weld, Gilpin, Boulder, Eagle, Jefferson, and Park counties. We also launched our Citizen Training Bootcamp series. You can watch the first recording, "How to Testify at the Legislature (and Other Government Hearings)" HERE. ([link removed]) And, find our future trainings on our website ([link removed]) .

Thanks for staying engaged and fighting the good fight!

** “A fighting tone”: Colorado Republicans are heading into the 2022 legislative session on the offensive
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]
Colorado Sun ([link removed]) : Republicans in the Colorado legislature have been mostly playing defense over the past three years. But that posture is changing in 2022, an election year that will determine whether conservatives will remain relegated to the sidelines of Colorado politics.

This year, Republicans are going on the offensive.

Republicans see the 2022 legislative session that began Wednesday ([link removed]) as their best chance before the November election to showcase their vision for the state’s future, which they call their “Commitment to Colorado.” The party is pitching voters on policies aimed at reducing the cost of living, decreasing crime and improving student outcomes that would be accomplished, in large part, by rolling back policies Democrats passed in recent years.

Doug Lamborn gains key post overseeing military space programs
[link removed]
Colorado Springs Gazette ([link removed]) : Colorado Springs U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn has been named as the ranking member of the subcommittee overseeing space defense, missile defense and nuclear weapons, gaining key leverage over space programs at a time when Colorado is fighting to hold onto Space Command headquarters.

Rep. Mike Rogers, the lead Republican on the Armed Services Committee, said he appointed his GOP colleague because of his passion on defense issues and "they recognized my dedication to these issues partly because so much of this activity takes place in Colorado," said Lamborn.
